Marcus Campbell Took Me Off of His Mailing List

Marcus Campbell quit sending me emails ten days ago. Either he just gave up trying to sell his affiliate products via email or he decided to eliminate me from his mailing list. Eliminating me from his email list is the most likely thing that happened here.

I had two email addresses that were very similar in name. One was on Hotmail and the other was Yahoo. I feel that since both email addresses quit receiving his updates.....,which were coming three to four times a week, it is obvious that he has gotten wind of my postings.

Just know that I will have a full blown web site soon on this subject.

All Marcus had to do was post here, email me personally, or call me. I would have been glad to respond. But no, he has just let me know that I am just one of many that are objecting to his product rip offs. I feel that I was ripped off. All I have is a fragmented manual that parallels a web site that you can follow. Off course I can not access this web site.

By the way, reading this manual is painful. He uses there for the're, weather for whether, im for I'm, your for you're and on and on. This poor Education of his, in English grammar, is something that I learned in Elementary School.

The only positive thing that I can say is that he has done quite well for someone that probably did not graduate from High School. I say this is a positive thing because this means that someone with a poor Elementary education can make money in affiliate marketing.

Marcus is Trying Trickery to Get Your Money

Check out this new confusing rhetoric from Marcus Campbell.

First, let me define the word "SCAM" befoe I go any further.   Scam: a scheme to obtain money by dishonest means.

"3 hours left for your free download".............This is the title of the email that I got from Marcus on 5/25/2010.

Now here is the trick to this Free download. You can download this program to your computer....but...it will not be activated until you pay $1.00 to activate it. Here is the other trick.......this program costs more to actually have running on your computer. The dollar is just to get your credit card info. Then the real cost of the program starts kicking in. It doesn't matter what the price of the program is.......it is the way Marcus is going about trying to get you to buy this software.

The honest way to get you to buy this software is to announce the full price of the monthly charge for this software. It may be some great software....but....since Marcus is going about this tricky way of getting you on board.....it sounds fishy.....it could be something that you may want to stay away from.....or....this software may be just like some program that you already have.

Since I have found that it is impossible to get in touch with Marcus, what kind of a chance do you think you will have if you want to cancel this monthly charge to your credit card?????? Of course you would have to call the credit card company and get them to reissue you a new card with a new number and then contact other people of the change in your credit card information if you have other charges that are taken from that same card.

You do all of this at the chance to find out what this software is all about.........what a hassle!

Now can you understand why I have been making these blogs about Marcus Campbell?

It seems to me that Marcus has quickly become someone that is struggling to survive in the very business that he has used to make money in......and that business is affiliate marketing. He is quickly putting his name to shame on the internet. This is a shame.

Marcus....Listen Up.....your name is everything on the Internet. Once you are seen as being even slightly dishonest.....then.... it is a downhill slide from there.

What a shame. Shame on you Marcus for treading down this slippery slope of being even slightly dishonest.

I suggest that everyone stay away from this Turbo Traffic software with the $1 trial. My bet that it is more of the same that other programs provide. Marcus seems to be grasping at straws to try some slight trickery to get you on board.

Rip Off Alert About Marcus Campbell

In February of this year, 2010, I purchased a course from Marcus Campbell. I paid about $315.00 that included the added shipping. I was learning affiliate marketing from my computer with Marcus Campbell's Desktop Version 1.27.

I was starting to learn a lot from the material on the program. I was doing this at my own pace and I was watching the videos several times so that the information would sink in. At some point, in about a month, the program quit working. I called on the phone. I emailed support. I emailed Marcus from every email address that I could find on his sites. NO reply!

This is a shame because I was learning what I wanted to learn from the material that I briefly had access to. At the time, I just wanted to learn what Marcus knew and then learn what other know. Marcus was my first stop in learning about affiliate marketing.

I have noticed that Clickbank is still selling this same course that I bought. Marcus may have had a lot of bad feedback about charging people over $300 for a month to have the privilege of watching his videos in that short amount of time. You would have to be an Einstein to take that much data in and remember it fully in just a month.

I say that Marcus may have had some bad feedback about his course because I have also noticed that Marcus is selling his monthly subscription as his course now. This costs $97 a month. Wow! This sounds more honest but that price is out of sight in my opinion. It may take you three to six months to really get a handle on affiliate marketing if you are starting from scratch. Learning how to use a WYSIWYG and WordPress is no walk in the park. You need to be very familiar with these two programs to be able to proceed on your own in Affiliate Marketing.....in my opinion.

I feel that $315.00 for about a month worth of information is not worth the money.

I watched the sales video that I bought this course from several times. There was never a mention that this product would quit working after 30 days. There was no mention on the sales page said that I had to pay some other monthly fee to keep it working. If I had seen that I would have looked elsewhere for an affiliate marketing course.

Also, in the sales video, Marcus was showing over a dozen CD videos that were part of the course that would come with my package. I never got those CD videos that were supposed to be part of the course. I did see later, after my course was turned off, that Marcus was selling these videos for $97.00 as a separate package. In my mind, Marcus was selling my CD videos that I already paid for. If I had gotten these promised CD videos, I may not have written this blog.

By the way, this will not be my only blog on this subject. I will Squido this information just as I am doing here. When I get two domains that I am considering, I will post once with WordPress on one domain and with an HTML editor on the other domain. I may help others to make their decision to look elsewhere for help in learning about affiliate marketing.

Now I am just making it known to the World that I had a bad experience with a Marcus Campbell product. I am doing this so that you can make your own mind up if you are looking for a course in affiliate marketing. I just hope your experience will not go on the same course as mine.
So, you be the judge. Is what I have described here a scam? Was Marcus Campbell scamming me with some deceptive rhetoric? Or.....have others had the same experience?

In my mind, it would be hard for Marcus to explain away what happened to me. I am sure that Marcus has some explanation for this happening to me. I can't imagine that I am the only one that has had this happen to them with Marcus.

I would appreciate it if you post your experience here if you have or have not been able to contact Marcus. I can't get him to respond to me. Maybe you can get him to answer. Maybe you can get past the busy signal on the phone. Your experience will be interesting to hear.

As far as my Affiliate Marketing education goes....I decided not to pursue any other contact with Marcus Campbell because of the experience that I had. I mean, I feel that I lost money and I have found it impossible to contact Marcus. Instead of crying over losing $300 and losing more time trying to fix this situation.....I just moved on to find another person or a course that could help me.

In my research to find a teacher and a complete Affiliate Marketing course, I simply went to ClickBank and found another person that was marketing an Affiliate Marketing course. I had to start somewhere so I tried Mark Ling's Affilorama course. This course is what I am now using to learn affiliate marketing. I am very pleased with the information and instruction that I have gotten.

In my research, I could not find any other course that was as complete Mark Lings for under $200 or more than $200. There is another monthly fee that you can be charged to get on Mark Lings Premium site. This costs $67 monthly and this includes hosting. You do not have to buy this to get the course that I am recommending. I Just recommend the course without the monthly fee if you are just starting out and you do not want to spend a lot of money to see if you will like affiliate marketing.

Give Mark Ling's course a try if you are interested and need an extra income as I do.

I will link you below.

When you get to this site, scroll down the page and look at the right side of the page for Affiloblueprint. This is the course that is less than $200. This is a twelve week course that gives you goals to complete each week. At the end of the course you should be able to start making money online. This course is a logical progression of learning like any College or High School course. I highly recommend it.

One last thing......I have another blog that I made before I wrote this blog and another similar blog with different Key Words.  This blog gave some newbie affiliate marketing tips that I have learned in my learning process. These tips might help you to progress more quickly as you learn affiliate marketing.
